How we list castings

Most castings on Meridian Models are our summaries of postings published elsewhere. This page explains where they come from, what we look for, and how to correct or remove one.

Where castings come from

We find public postings from agencies, brands and employers, on their own websites and on job boards. For each one we read the page, write a short summary in our own words, and link to it with an Apply button. We do not copy a posting’s text or photographs, we do not take applications for these castings, and we are not the hirer’s agent. Hirers can also send us a casting directly; see for agencies and brands.

Each casting links to the page where we found it. That is usually the hirer’s own page. Some come from a job board that republishes the posting.

What we look for

  • A named hirer, and a way to apply on the page we link to.
  • No fee asked of talent for applying or registering.
  • Nothing that asks for or involves anyone under 18.
  • Work that is modelling: fashion, commercial, fit, e-commerce, runway and similar.

We skip postings that fail those tests.

What we cannot promise

We do not verify every posting, and a casting may have closed or changed since we looked. Each casting page shows the date we last checked it. A casting is shown as closed once its closing date passes, and one with no closing date is given an expiry date and shown as closed after it unless we have checked it again. Always confirm on the original page before you act.

Applying

Use the Apply button to go to the original page and apply there. Check who is hiring before you send anything, never pay to be considered, and read our safety guide.

Correct or remove a listing

If you published a posting that appears here and want it changed or removed, write to business@meridianmodels.com with a link to the page and what you want done. Section 7 of the terms covers removal requests. If a casting looks unsafe or fraudulent, use the report form.
