This policy explains what personal data Meridian Models (“we”) collects through Meridian Models, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- When you register interest or write to us: your name, email address, city, whether you are a model, agency or brand, the plan you clicked, and any message you send.
- When you have a profile or post a casting: the information and images you add, which are shown on the site as you choose.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details appear in our hosting provider’s server logs. We use your IP address, in a form that cannot be read back, only to limit repeated form submissions.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to you, process your registration and run your account — to take steps you ask for, and for our legitimate interest in running the service.
- To keep the site safe and stop abuse — our legitimate interest.
- To send the confirmation and service emails connected to what you did — the same bases. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who sees it
Our team sees what you send us. We use service providers to host the site and deliver email; they process data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Content you choose to publish on a profile or casting is public.
Cookies and similar storage
The public pages use only the cookies needed to run the site, such as when our staff sign in. Castings you “save” are kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device and are never sent to us.
How long we keep it
We keep registration and contact records for as long as they are needed for the purpose above and delete them when they are not. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Use the contact page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on recognised safeguards for those transfers.
Children
Meridian Models is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
