Kids and teens
Kids and teens take part through a parent or legal guardian. The parent holds the account, runs the profile and gets every message. Children never sign up, and their profiles are never public.
How a child’s profile works
- Choose a model plan. You, the parent or guardian, hold the account and must be 18 or over.
- Choose “My child” in Your details. Add their first name, month and year of birth, height, clothing and shoe size, and photos.
- We review it. A person on our team checks the photos and details before anyone else can see the profile.
- Agencies and brands find them. Only signed-in agency and brand members can see kids profiles, and their messages come to you by email.
What a kids profile shows, and never shows
- Shows: first name, age, height, clothing and shoe size, hair and eyes, and the photos you choose.
- Never shows: surname, exact location, school, contact details, social media or body measurements.
- Never public: not in the public directory, not in search engines, and no preview when a link is shared.
Photos
- Recent, natural photos in everyday clothes: head and shoulders, and full length.
- No underwear, swimwear or anything suggestive. We decline profiles and remove photos that break this rule.
Castings for kids and teens
Castings for under-18s are marked Kids, with the ages, and only a parent or guardian applies. Agencies and brands that post them agree that a parent or chaperone can be there throughout, that no fee is asked, that the work involves no nudity, swimwear or underwear, and that they hold any permit the law requires. See kids castings.
Before you say yes
- Never pay to be considered for work, to register with an agency, or for a photo shoot offered as a condition of a job.
- Check who is hiring, and get the date, place, hours, rate and usage in writing.
- Stay with your child at every casting and shoot.
- Many places require a permit or licence for child performers, for example an Entertainment Work Permit in California or a performance licence from the local council in the UK. Ask the client who arranges it.
- Some places require part of a child’s earnings to be set aside, for example in a Coogan account in California.
